So this is interesting! I decided to fiddle with this Sharp PA-1050 one last time before looking to sell it for parts. Well, I guess it saw what I had planned and decided to start working. There is a flat silver bar beneath the carr–er, printhead that is in charge of pressing the printhead to make contact with the paper. My fiddling apparently re-engaged it so I think this guy just bought himself more time. This PA-1050 has features none of my other thermals have, such as flush. In fact, let’s give it a try:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox. Hm! That didn’t work.
Oh! That was flush right!
This is justified. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dof. Dof?
Okay, Sharp PA-1050. You just might live to see another day after all. Now, I should probably see how your spell check feature works. But we have time for that now. We have time for much more.
